Coiled Tubing Drilling Units

Stewart & Stevenson manufactures fit-for-purpose hybrid coiled tubing drilling units to drill with coiled tubing or conventional drill pipe. Drilling with coil can decrease the time it takes to drill a well because of continuous tubing technology. Coiled tubing can also be snubbed into a well for drilling in underbalanced conditions where necessary, providing an advantage over conventional rigs.

Specifications include:

• Single or multi-trailer configuration
• Laydown mast/derricks up to 400,000 lbs capacity
• Reel capacities to 10,000 ft of 3.50 inch
• Top drive, draw works, and rotary table for drilling with conventional pipe
• Injector heads available with capacity up to 200,000 lbs
• Hydraulic or AC power
• Doghouse with full drilling system controls
• Mud pump and mud system
• Power generation
