DAQPAQ
The Stewart & Stevenson Integrated Data Acquisition system integrates our standard Data Acquisition System with a Personal Computer interface, and is preloaded with Report & Analysis software. The computer processor and data acquisition hardware are combined into one Ruggedized case for use wherever the job requires. The lid of the case contains the display monitor (similar to a laptop design), while the base of the suitcase contains the computer and DAS hardware. All of the bulkhead connections are located in ruggedized breakout cables that have eight connectors for your sensors and mates to the computer via one 50-pin military spec DB-50 connector. (8 Analog inputs on one side; 6 Frequency inputs and two expansion connectors on the other). This system is capable of taking signals directly from sensors on field equipment and conditioning them into digital information that goes directly into the PC software. This new system provides customers with one integrated solution, whereas previously a DAS suitcase, laptop, and a software program were required to perform the same job.
The Data Acquisition hardware is based on widely used, embedded processor architecture, which allows the system to easily expand with changing customer demands. This established durable architecture provides numerous alternatives for storage, communication, data processing and data display through industry standard protocols. The powerful integrated processors provide ample processing power for all data acquisition and computational requirements.
