Stewart & Stevenson offers EMD diesel powered stationary units that provide 800 to 5000 bhp. These heavy-duty units are applied as base load generating sets in remote locations, emergency standby sets in hospitals, offshore and land-based drilling, nuclear power generating plants, and pipeline and dredge pump applications. Customized stationary power units can generate 60 Hz at 900 rpm or 50 Hz at 750 rpm, and at a wide variety of voltages.
